North Korea In Tears Over Kim Jong Il

Kind of insane to see how they were reacting to their leaders death. Well not really insane, because thats how you should react when your president or ruler dies. I just don't really see that happening for the states. In America... well there were a lot of people upset when Kennedy was assassinated but times are different now. I don't think today's youth in the US would be in a square somewhere holding hands crying over Obama if he died. People would be sad and hurt and upset at home but... I don't really see it for our generation... Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am wrong. But its just strange to see the teens and young people so upset, when here, I know a lot of kids who could give not one care if ANYTHING happens in government or to our president. Makes you think a little.

In North Korea they were indoctrinated since birth to believe that he was a Demi-God. Imagine witnessing someone who you basically worshiped die.Its different there then it is here.

ur not serious are you??

Kim Jong Il is a dictator, and those people need to cry or else they'll be sent away to concentration camps. Not mourning the death of their "great leader" can mean torture, imprisonment, or death. If they had the chance, they'd be dancing in the streets.

Don't gotta think man! Those poor bastards in North Korea ust gotta pretend to be sad or theyll die a horrible death.

I agree with you, kids today don't care about our country or what happens to the president or anything along those lines because it doesn't effect them. Once they have to live on their own and when the president and the economy starts to play a role in their life, I believe they will be more sentimental towards a death of a president or anyone who holds a political title.

You see how people reacted when Michael died? I doubt a president anytime soon will get that type of reaction...
