Ice T Disses Lil Wayne and Rick Ross

OG rapper Ice-T has been surveying rap's current landscape, and doesn't exactly like what he sees.

The West Coast rap pioneer is particularly bothered by the lack of accountability mc's have these days for the things they say.

You can tell kids these days any motherf*cking thing and they’ll believe it,” Ice told VH1 in a recent interview. “There’s not a code of accountability in hip hop. When I came out, if you said it, you HAD to be about it. N*ggas would check you really quickly.”

Ice is particularly irked at one particular former correctional officer.

That’s fake,” Ice says of Officer Ricky. “Rick Ross stole a n*gga’s name. I call him ‘Identity Crisis.’ He thinks he’s [Freeway] Rick Ross, he thinks he’s Larry Hoover, he thinks he’s Big Meech, he thinks he’s MC Hammer, he thinks he’s Tupac. Like, who the f*ck are you really, dude? When we rapped about dope -- me, Snoop and everybody -- it was like we doin’ it because we GOT to. Now these n*ggas is actin’ like it’s somethin’ that’s FUN. It’s so easy to fantasize about it. To actively do it? That’s a whole ‘nother f*ckin’ thing."

Ice also had a few words for Lil Wayne.

"When you hear Lil Wayne sayin’ ‘I got a chopper in the car,’ you go, ‘Yeah, right you do.‘”

Maaannn someone get Ice-T all the way up out of the PAINT! Sir... do you not remember the Soulja Boy situation? You talked the craziest amount of trash and got played. You are the one who rapped about killing cops and are now playing a cop on TV. I know we all have to grow up and move on blah blah blah but you not "real" like you say either. And you never had a good song anyway Ice T. Maybe Im too young but was this guy ever really that hot??? Oh and heres the video as a reminder.
lmao smh

yea ice t is hilghly respected, you prolly wouldnt know cus your some new york boy, but in cali he was respected by all LA and all gangs. He spoke for bloods and crips in the 1980s and originally helped start gangsta rap. listen to "colors" or "6 in tha monin". And if anything hes prolly more raw dressed than any of these new rappers. look at his vintage interview with mtv where he would be wearing loafers, leather jackets with studs and hats. He pretty speaks the ruth and made soulja boy look like a uneducated nigga without eduction bout his musics history. I mean cmon i thought you knew this duran. You should be with ice t on this one.
