Ok Sooooooo

Noticed upside down crosses have become a trend of sorts in fashion... Now I'm alllll for like... dressing however you want to and wearing whatever you want, BUT! I can see how it could be offensive. It'd be the equivalent of wearing a swastika? I think. I dunno, an upside down cross is also the symbol for a sub-religion or culture... I mean being a Nazi was too... Ahhh its getting a little confusing and deeper than what I intended. I mean... no harm no foul I guess? I mean... no offense but that picture is kinda cool lol nice colors and stuff. BUT! Thoughts???

it's not offensive, everybody thinks its a satanic, anti-christ sign but in actuality its the cross of st peter, he was a saint who was meant to be crucified but he said he wasnt worthy to die in the same way as jesus so he requested that he was crucified upside down out of respect x

that's exactly what i thought!.. that it was anti-christ, but come to think of it... chani ra , could be right. and even if not it's a nice way to think of it. and beat and anti-christ thoughts. that's it.. it's only st. peter! xxxx
still i'd just leave that design alone, there's gotta be hotter designs, just without the contraversy :) xxx

@chani ra
its actually both. it has always been a symbol of st. peter's cross, but it has also been used by the church of satan to be anti-christ. sooooo yea lol. most people don't even know about the st. peter's side of it.

the cross in symbolical terms is the 'cross of matter', matter being horizontal and spirit being vertical. the middle of the cross is where humans exist, where spirit meets matter. the extended vertical line could be a spirit's ascent.
